Sadly, I didn't get to hit the slopes on this trip to Tahoe but make no mistake, I still played in the snow. It was just as much fun as the time we came up last summer, but the only difference was rolling eighteen deep. Spending a long weekend with good company, delicious home cooked meals, board games, book readings by the fire and drinking games inside a beautiful lake house are the perfect kind of way to nest in the winter. Not to mention-- hiking in the woods, building snowmen and making snow angels were all new outdoor experiences that I really enjoyed. Even a few crazy friends entertained us by jumping in the ice cold lake. I recorded a few clips on Vine so if you have the app you can view it there.
