Jcrew vest, LF Store jeans, Longchamp bag, Chanel watch, Cole Haan flats

I couldn't get this Patagonia vest out of my head for so long. I've never been a fan but I see it everywhere in the Marina and couldn't decide if I wanted it mainly because of that. Opted for this Jcrew version instead since I figured it would carry me through as a classic and more functional piece in my wardrobe. Found some friends to join my fancy watch and the weather is warming up so I was happy to finally take my bike around.

Zara pants and heels, Michael Kors tank, Celine sunglasses, Chanel Watch

Here's another late blog post since I was saving this outfit to wear for a night out. It's one of those that never made an appearance when I first wore it because I suddenly was too cold, lazy or decided I just wasn't in the mood. Oftentimes, I will try to capture it through a crappy iPhone camera but of course that never does it any justice (no matter how hard I try to manipulate it through filters and photo apps). I really don't know where I got the idea that the moment an outfit has been photographed, it would be a sin to repeat it and it would be daring to wear it again the very next day. I saw a someecard that read, "I have an irrational fear of wasting a good outfit on an insignificant day" and to some degree I relate. At 29, I definitely feel more secure not to care or have the need for someone to acknowledge my style. But occasionally I'll feel this simply for the effort I put in, especially since neither of those are a part of my routine anymore. When I have my hair done, a full face of makeup on and to catch me wearing eyeshadow and lashes- shows real dedication on my end; so to do all that and not go out feels pretty pointless. Anyway, I'm glad I waited to take a better picture even though I looked silly hiking in heels. The weather was so nice up Marin Headlands and the Golden Gate Bridge made a perfect background. It's Super bowl Sunday and because San Francisco is dominating in sports, I couldn't be more proud to be from the Bay Area. Go Niners!

Michael Kors heels, JBrand pants, Mango sweater, Guess Marciano vest, Celine bag, Chanel watch

This blog post is long overdue (3 weeks to be exact according to my instagram). But it seems fitting now that it's Superbowl week and owning something red can be useful to represent the 49ers. Let me be very clear-- I am no where in a position to talk about being a die-hard fan. In fact, last Sunday was the very first time I watched a full football game because honestly it's too barbaric for my liking. However, now that we're in the finish line, I will show some SF spirit and join the excitement with the rest of the city. It's just a sport that never appealed to me but it is pretty cool since the Giants won the World Series and with the Niners making it to the Superbowl, I'll get on the bandwagon just because it's fun to participate in the action. #whynot
