GO HERE! After we had lunch at
Vineyards Inn, we went right next door to
Chateau St. Jean and this place was FUN just look for Sonja. I'm a fan of white wine and my favorite from here were the Pinot Blanc and for red is the Pinot Noir.
Not only was this estate and vineyard gorgeous but it was an excellent choice as our first stop to begin our wine tasting experience. I would definitely come back here again and I highly recommend coming in a big group for a fun and great time.

So I've never been wine tasting before and it's amazing how close the Wine Country is from Santa Rosa. We decided to check out
Sonoma Valley opposed to
Napa since the majority has never been and from my friend's reviews, Sonoma takes the cake. This area is hands down breathtaking. It was closer and less pretentious than what I hear Napa is like, but next time around I would definitely make a visit out there for sure to compare.

there's no better high than cruising top down in hot weather, super fast in a fun car like this... :) i love old convertible cars especially this one that belongs to a friend of mine.
on our way up to Bodega Bay from Santa Rosa, we passed through a fun charming town called Sebastopol, home to
Screamin' Mimi's, the best Ice Cream Parlor in Sonoma County. This town also holds an annual
Apple Blossom Festival that's filled with music, food, and parades that make great entertainment for all ages.

normally the beaches in bodega bay are known for windy weather making it a neat spot to simply enjoy the views of the cool coast, fly kites along the sand or dine for fresh seafood and tasty salt water taffy.
however the day we came up so happened to be the hottest weekend in the bay in awhile and we got lucky and were able to relax in the still skies and caught a nice tan as we layed out and took in the warm sun. It was a perfect beach day even up north and that's everything to smile about!
