So I've never been wine tasting before and it's amazing how close the Wine Country is from Santa Rosa. We decided to check out Sonoma Valley opposed to Napa since the majority has never been and from my friend's reviews, Sonoma takes the cake. This area is hands down breathtaking. It was closer and less pretentious than what I hear Napa is like, but next time around I would definitely make a visit out there for sure to compare.
