Puerto Vallarta seemed to be the most commercialized destination we visited among the 3 vacation spots but still carried a serene and relaxing vibe.

We visited the famous Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, one of the main focal points in Puerto Vallarta's skylines and had lunch at Margarita Grill where they served freshly made salsa, and I had the best tortilla soup, mango margarita and a molcajetes that I shared with my mom which was something different but good.

I didn't get to tan much, but I did get my play time with Maverick on the beach... this boy loves the water more than me..

it's a completely different experience traveling with your family-- and a large group to add to that note. i could lay in a beach all day, but my parents love visiting the churches and seeing the sights, so we did a city tour where some parts reminded me of the philippines. we had lunch at this amazing mexican/seafood restaurant where i ordered something i could've gotten at giovanni's or mackey's shrimp truck from hawaii and then played in the beach with mavs till we headed back to our ship..

I hear a lot of mixed reviews about this spot, but personally, I absolutely love Cabo. I'm a beach gal so I think this place is breathtaking. I came here 2 years ago and it is exactly just as I remembered and there's really something magical about the rock formations. We rode a glass bottom boat during the sunset around the world famous arch, lovers beach, and divorce beach... If only we had more days to spend here... :) it was beautiful. oh and not to mention- the food was off the hook. i love mexican food!!

my family and i decided to celebrate the sunny christmas season on a cruise to Cabo, Mazatlan, and Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. 7 days of warm weather, non-stop fine dining, delicious food, fun activities and entertainment are the perfect way to bond and share the meaning of the holidays- moments with family.

i highly recommend any family vacation to be done through a cruise, especially with children. We did a freestyle cruise through Norwegian Cruise Line- our suites were spacious and the private balcony/deck was very relaxing. I even had my very first acupuncture session and gained a couple pounds from the constant desserts that i can't wait to shed.. all in all, it is was well worth it, and this christmas wasn't white but it sure was bright! ;) hope everyone had a great time!
