We ate at
The Crepevine Restaurant in Burlingame on another sunny saturday and enjoyed my favorite- a Bodega Bay or simply a tuna melt with a side salad and rosette potatoes . This fun restaurant has a vast menu to offer and a wide branch of locations in the cutest neighborhoods.
After we ate, we passed through the Apple Store and saw
Girl Scouts selling cookies- cuuuute! I think I bought a box of every kind just to support their cause. Girl Scouts are more than just a group of girls out to gain badges on their sashes. The activity of selling cookies helps them practice life skills, like goal setting, money management, and teamwork- while having fun! :)
You should've seen how alive these kids were that you would've bought a box too. The Samoa's are my favorite and made a perfect dessert along with my Iced Coffee from
Peets right next door.

We had dinner at Isa, a french restaurant located right in the heart of the Marina in SF. The ambiance is adorable in this quaint gem and definitely try the Crushed Truffle Risotto and the Grilled Natural Flat Iron Steak with a glass of Sauvignon Blanc- I love white wine.
After dinner we headed out to Circa for drinks and this place was super packed. Such a cute venue and the vibe was FUN. I'd definitely recommend this spot for an upper scale, hip, and happening place for a good time.
Did you know Hello Kitty is the ambassador of Japanese tourism?
Japanese magazines are the source of many of my fashion inspirations.

- Japan for me in a nutshell in 3 hours.
- I enjoyed my pocky and milk tea as I waited to finally get home..
- What a day.. Manila to Hong Kong to Japan to San Francisco.. jetsetting.

shopping can be a fun way to release tension, but after 5 days of travelling and non stop shopping.. things can become overwhelming. and after walking high and low, a refreshing iced coffee from starbucks (it's the only place that had splenda) and a chocolate ensaymada, a famous filipino pastry, from Bizu in Alabang Town Center is the perfect "merienda" or snack to recharge.
This shopping area attracts an upscale crowd that has a nice leisure environment and relaxing atmosphere compared to the chaos and busyness of most shopping centers in Manila.
And to top it off, there's nothing like a good firm massage at such an affordable price that you get 2 in one day! :) Pampering myself and getting all my depilatory needs met at a fraction of what I'd pay back at home was a sure way to regroup and prepare for the long journey the next day.
