when shopping i'm not big on trying things on in the dressing room part bc i'm lazy and would rather buy it and try it on at the leisure of my own bedroom and have the time to decide if i like it or not. that way i can try it on with different things i already have or get another person's opinion. but since i don't frequent downtown as often as i'd like, i devoted a day just for shopping. it's a good idea to wear something that's easy to remove off and on and wear simple basic staple colors that i can easily layer underneath something. and i usually wouldn't recommend heels especially if you're going to be doing a lot of walking, however, these are so comfortable i can walk for days in 'em...

either i'm getting busier or time is flying faster but tomorrow will be october which means my favorite holiday halloween is just right around the corner.

anyway, i'm not genetically blessed with height so i'm usually in heels and lately these have been my go to pair, part bc i'm always in a rush and haven't had time to play dress up and put things together. i haven't had the chance to swap out the contents of my purse either so i've been using this pouch all the time.. i've rocked this sweater way too many times but i love stripes.. however no matter how often you repeat an outfit never underestimate the power of a scarf- it can automatically transform everything.

oh and my hair is most probably the most asked about question i get on my emails which if you only knew- i hardly wash. i don't even own a comb and i have more makeup brushes for my face. but i do like bedhead hairspray, and yes blondes definitely do have more fun.

here's another cute mesh bodysuit that i scored at american apparel.. it has a very low v neck all the way down to the crotch and since i've been digging that high cut brief look i almost achieved this style with these hot shorts which were perfect since they're almost as high enough as if i wore the suit solo. i tried it on with the black pair but felt the red was too radical that i couldn't resist. I later learned this was also worn by megan fox on the rolling stone magazine.. oh and i attended a fun party at vine last saturday night in santa rosa. dirt nasty performed.. not a huge fan but it was definitely a cool crowd and another super fun night!

i hate not having a small camera to take out since my other one broke in vegas at wet republic :( thank god there are photographers at clubs even though these most probably don't capture the full outfit or give it justice. these darker acid wash pants are super comfy- a legging feel but denim look, i like- my kinda pants. i've totally been channeling lady gaga and have been into these body suits.. this one was actually a bathing suit with a hood- soooooo cute. anyway we trekked around sf and hit up slide, vessel, and harlot and no drunken meal afterward, so i'd say it was a pretty successful night :)
