We met up for drinks at Buddakan, the restaurant where Carrie from Sex and the City had her engagement party. We came here in the daytime too during the tour but it was much cooler checking it out at night. We then hit up some fun bars in the West Village and again ended our night with another Gray's Papaya.

h&m dress, seiko watch, imitation balmain sandals, dita sunglasses, lv bag

i got this dress at H&M and love the fit of it. this is my first all black ensemble purchase since i've avoided wearing this color from head to toe for so long since i've outdone it when i was at MAC. for some reason i was really into wearing black and white on this trip, maybe it was that chic vibe i got from New York. but i also got some good use out of these imitation balmain sandals i got earlier this year in february. since you'll do so much walking in new york, flats seem to be an essential so i tried to spare my feet heels for night time only since we were mostly out and about all day. oh and i love love these dita sunglasses, they saved me after my marc jacobs avaitors broke! :(

The Meatpacking District is my favorite area to party in New York City. Our first night we checked out the Plunge Bar at the Gansevoort Hotel and it is definitely one of my favorite spots I've partied in. With the beautiful weather, breathtaking views, great drinks, and good company it's a perfect place to get a feel of the nightlife in this big city. The whole area is packed with tons of hot bars and clubs filled with people all over the cobblestone streets. We continued the party at Buddha Bar which was just around the corner. This restaurant/bar is super cute with cool decor and excellent drinks. We had a black buddha cocktail which is no joke one of the tastiest and strongest beverages i've had. We then roamed around to Kiss and Fly but decided to call it a night and headed to Gray's Papaya, New York's famous hot dogs. Forget Pink's in LA, these bad boys are amazing.
