New York Minute

Each time I visit New York, it's always filled with some major dining plans and our quick trip this last weekend was no different. On the first day we arrived, we had lunch at Almond, dinner at The Mercer Kitchen, and drinks at the Merc Bar-- all highly recommended, with very cool vibes.  The next day, we took a stroll down the High Line after our Sunday brunch at Fig & Olive, watched the musical Annie on Broadway, then had cocktails on the roof of The NoMad Hotel, followed by a private dinner inside the Cupola Room. If you're looking for a near-perfect 2-night itinerary, this could be a good way to go. It's too bad I (suddenly) developed a fear of flying, otherwise, I would've extended my stay just for one more day -- to peruse around and go shopping. There's never enough time to do everything in New York but when we come, we always make the most of our trips and next time we stay, it will definitely be longer than just a weekend.
