The Hamptons is everything you imagine it to be and these pictures make me want to go back already. Anywhere I spend seven days or more becomes like home and this trip to New York was very memorable. We had dinner in NYC the night before at Blue Hill-- one of my favorite restaurants and too bad they don't allow you to take pictures inside but I'd definitely recommend checking it out if you're in the area. In Montauk, which is basically the furthest end of Long Island, I had breakfast every single morning at Joni's Cafe that consisted of a smoothie and a cinnamon raisin toast with cream cheese. We visited the oldest Lighthouse in New York, went kayaking, played miniature golf and spent days and nights inside the water and on the beach. However, the Surf Lodge is probably my highlight of the trip since there is nothing I don't like about it. The food, the decor, the vibe-- it's pretty much my kind of scene and wish we had a place like that nearby in SF. I didn't really do much shopping but East Hampton is the best spot for  that and another good place we ate at out there was Nick and Toni's. After 5 days of summering, we headed back to the city and had dinner at the lovely Waverly Inn. This too is another favorite of mine and after this vacation I really appreciated what the East Coast has to offer.
