Washington D.C.

A trip to Washington D.C. is not complete without a visit to the White House and the US Capitol. It was a rigorous process and we went through a very tight security check, but in the end I was so happy we were able to tour inside.

Unfortunately, the Washington Monument was under scaffolding and we didn't get to see the Lincoln Memorial because the weather didn't cooperate. 

We did however, get to see the Smithsonian Air & Space Museum and eat everyday at Founding Farmers, my new favorite restaurant. That alone I'd fly back in a heartbeat, so I do look forward to returning back soon.

Thanksgiving Weekend

I spent this past Thanksgiving in Washington DC and just arrived in SF to a beautiful sunny day. Definitely does not feel like December here but I am not complaining since after coming from the freezing cold in the East Coast, I am very thankful to live in California. Hope everyone had a nice long weekend!

Wishful Thinking

With Christmas and my birthday coming up, here are a few (fantasy) things that I would want:

1.) BluePrint Green Juice -- If I could have a lifetime supply of this, I would be so happy.

2.) Soul Cycle Classes -- I would love to have priority for reserving a spot on my favorite bike.

3.) Shimano Cycling Shoes -- Because why am I still renting shoes for $3 every time I go to class? 

4.) SK-II Facial Treatment Essence -- I've been wanting to change up my skincare routine and want to switch over to this line.

5.) Gold Bar Necklace -- I've been eyeing this style and love how delicate it looks. Add engraving and this would be perfect.

6.) Triangle Bras and Underwear -- I love updating/adding new lingerie at the beginning of the year. Gap Body, Calvin Klein and DKNY are my favorite brands.

7.) Tom Ford Lipstick -- Insidious is the best lipstick color.

8.) Diptyque Baies Candle -- Another favorite product that always could use replenishing.

9.) Proenza Scholeur Backpack -- Hunting for an everyday bag and I like the idea of a backpack again.

10.) Cartier Love Bracelet -- Now this would be the ultimate Christmas/Birthday gift, no explanation needed.

Fall in New York

If you're searching for the best fall foliage, you must visit New York in October. The shades of red, yellow and orange leaves will remind you how beautiful Autumn can be -- especially Upstate. It's my favorite time to get away from the city and enjoy the kind of scenery you can only find in the East Coast. It's the main reason why I love coming here during this time and hope to experience it every year that I can.
