July was a very busy month -- Maverick turned 5, my mom turned 60, and Alex and I hosted our first couple's dinner party/game night. I'm just recovering from this past weekend's events -- a John Mayer concert and a big party bus. I'll post pictures from that next but with all the birthday celebrations and festivities, I am partied out.

Here is a massive photo diary of my 4th of July weekend spent in Hawaii. It took me forever to narrow down which photos to include with this post, but here are the ones I selected after 5 full days of adventures. We stayed at The Modern Honolulu and made frequent trips up to North Shore and Kailua (my favorite beaches). I enjoyed a big breakfast every morning, basked in the perfect 79-degree warm weather, and loved touring Alex around on his first visit to Oahu! We had such a fun time exploring and taking lots of pictures. Swimming with sharks and having a private helicopter to view the whole island were probably my main highlights of the trip. One more day to work on my tan and I'd call this vacation to Hawaii the best I've ever had.
