So much to say about this day but in a nutshell, Ducksauce, Chromeo, Ratatat, and Kanye West killed it. Wasn't able to see all the performers since a lot of bands overlapped but I still left super satisfied. Everything about this music festival was on point and more than I expected. The fashion was pure eye candy and it was amazing to be surrounded in an environment like this for 3 days straight. It's no wonder why people travel so far to witness this event. Best weekend ever!

chilled poolside for a bit and started the day a little later to save our energy to last us all night. got real tipsy since we we planned our trek more carefully and brought our alcoholic beverages beforehand and walked a much shorter distance this time around. wearing my hats came in handy, met up with some friends and new folks, watched erykah badu and empire of the sun, played in the carnival and again had another epic night. oh and fyi- running inside a hamster wheel is a lot more difficult than it looks...

our adventure to coachella involved flying to ontario at the crack of dawn, then driving to indio, checking into our hotel, taking a shuttle to the festival, then walking by foot for miles just to get to the front entrance. there were literally thousands and thousands of people and the weather was unbelievably hot, so after waiting forever in line for alcohol and double fisting our vodka cranberries, we cooled down inside the beer gardens till we saw A-trak, Afrojack, part of Lauryn Hill, Cut Copy and of course Kings of Leon. This felt like the most exhausting day of my life and felt disgustingly dirty by the end of the night. My black boots turned grey, my hair was a mess, but all in all we had the time of our lives and it was just the start of a great weekend!
tuna melt from judy's
chocolate chip cookie from tart to tart
iced coffee from starbucks
my lunch usually consists of a sandwich that's either a variation of a turkey or tuna, a cookie for dessert and a coffee to close my meal.
judy's cafe on chestnut has one of the best tuna melts i've had in my life hands down. i literally eat a minimum of 3 chocolate chip cookies a day- no exaggeration- and
tart to tart on irving always delivers delicious goods that go perfect with my iced coffee. this is a pretty solid meal i eat on the daily and am always on the hunt to discover some better version.
