checking in

if you know me, i'm a twitter kinda gal. very seldom will i go on facebook, however ALL my friends are obsessed with it, especially with that new feature where you can "check in" to any establishment and tag who you're with.

anyway, when we go out we usually jump around from one spot to the next.. and in between that time, there's a fat pause where they're on their phones "checking in". So in my attempt to be extra annoying, I decided to check in to every single place we went to that night. Haha. it sounds really stupid typing it.. but with alcohol in your system, it can be pure entertainment.. Nevertheless I still think twitter rules.

i went to the Philippines at the end of August and this was my favorite go to outfit that kept me cool in the heat but warm enough inside where they blast the AC indoors.

i didn't take much pictures from the trip since i lost the charger for my camera but some highlights:

- Taking Tagalog classses at Languages Internationale, the top Foreign Language school in the Philippines.

- My grandparents' 60th wedding anniversary.

- Traveling with Maverick for his first time in the Philippines.

- Shopping, shopping, shopping.

- Dining, dining, dining.

- And of course, partying.

September Nights

Honestly.. the days in September flew by so fast for me. Maybe it was the perfect weather here in the bay because of indian summer and the heat waves.. but it was like suddenly, party mode in SF was in full effect.

The Marina is my second home with fun bars and clubs like East Side West, Circa, and of course Matrix. My choice of drink.. Fernet with a gingerale back.

Fall couldn't have started any better.

ok..... so here's my attempt to recap back from my last post, so bear with me.

i came back to LA and returned to my favorite summer party- THE DO OVER.

Talk about Sunday Funday.. This weekly day time event is thrown every summer and is THE place to be for an awesome time. At Cranes Hollywood Tavern with no cover and talented DJ's makes this spot a perfect place to get your groove on. With a laid-back house party feel and a crowd so diverse, it's no wonder it's always happening. The sweat, sunshine and spilled sangria is all part of the charm.

Note to self- white distressed denim shorts are just asking for wine stains.
