Mango dress, Liv Boutique booties, Bebe studded bracelet, Liz Claiborne bracelet
i attended a wedding this day and in the process of traveling back and forth to and from Rosa I'd say I'm pretty beat. anyhow, luckily my height has proven to serve my advantage once again as I love to wear larger tops as a dress and off the shoulder pieces are my favorites making this blouse or dress a hit.
silence & noise pants, bcbg top, cheetah scarf, ferragamo purse, steve madden booties, timex indiglo watch
Every Thursday night, the California Academy of Science is transformed into a lively venue called
NightLife, which is an event filled with music, cocktails, and mingling for visitors 21 and older from 6-10PM making this place the perfect destination for happy hour or a chance to meet new people in a cool environment with a small cover of only $10.
You can enjoy the Academy's stunning architecture and unique exhibits in a fun way since this is the only place on the planet with an aquarium, planetarium, a natural history museum, and a 4 story rainforest all under one roof. Combine that with a social setting and viola- you've got a great night in store.
It's been forever since I've gone shopping and after recovering, I hit up a few of my favorite stores and did some damage. And speaking of forever, I used to detest the yellow
Forever 21 shopping bags-
(I love when I go to a store and it's wrapped up nicely in a cute shopping bag like I bought myself a gift) Anyway, to my surprise this time around my purchase came inside a hot pink version instead. I'm assuming it's something new or maybe I've just been MIA from here in so long but either way it's a fun change that's more appealing than the previous version.
Bayo denim shorts, Trinity knit top, Urban Outfitters belt, Havaianna slippers, F21 sunglasses
this weekend was ridiculously hot and unfortunately i was feeling under the weather and stayed in. this is something i find extremely difficult because i'm such a restless person but my body just wouldn't have it any other way. so my time these past few days have been spent laying in bed sick to my stomach and watching tv, which if you know me I absolutely hate watching tv. don't get me wrong, there are certain shows i like and will record on my DVR and only one i follow religiously which is
90210 (i blame it on a friend) but i can't sit still and just surf through channels let alone do I care for the TV to be on just for background noise. I do however enjoy a good movie like
Taken- this movie is a must see for sure!
Anyway, today was the first day I had the energy to dress up and get myself up to enjoy the sunshine which I'm glad I did. Word of advice- never underestimate the power of looking good on the outside and thus feeling good inside.. It works wonders!
