i discovered not too long ago what the term hump day meant.. just wednesday.

anyhow, in my attempt to catch up to date on my blog, i decided to change up my environment. so i lugged my laptop in my old bag I used for school when I went to state, grabbed a snack at Genki on Clement- got my usual milk tea tapioca, chocolate and almond crepe, and pocky for fuel and walked next door to Blue Danube, a cute coffee shop with WiFi that had somewhat of a "Friends" feel to it and got to work.

favorite meal

For here or to go, a Vietnamese chicken sandwich with extra carrots and an Vietnamese iced coffee from Vietnam Village has got to be my once or twice a week meals I eat regularly. There's something about Vietnamese food that just hits the spot, especially after a work out, which is when I usually come here. You know how there's certain foods that you eat when you're in a different mood? Well, this meal is something I've eaten as comfort food, fast food, or even as a healthy filling lunch- no matter what I'm feeling, this sandwich never fails me and that is why I love it so much.

For the best chocolate chip cookie.. you MUST go here- Tart to Tart on Irving St. The sunset district is filled with a ton of great restaurants and dessert spots. We ate at Crepevine again where I got my regular Bodega Bay tuna melt and right across the street is where I discovered my new favorite place.

If only my house would smell like freshly baked chocolate chip cookies like these.. "sigh* they're absolutely that delicious.

filipino.. whoa..

I watched the Pacquiao vs. Hatton fight in the Mission District at the Victoria Theatre sponsored by Nike.

This event was really cool since they provided free food, drinks, and candy. There was also a comedian prior to the viewing and I was able to watch the fight in HD in a movie theatre style with a room full of proud Filipino's and fans of Pacquiao. We then celebrated the Pacquiao victory in the city and I got to sport this fun lace skirt.
