sometimes, i don't understand why I haven't lived here yet since I have constant love for this city--wait it seems like i've been saying that for everywhere i go. i digress. but this city rocks. i love the party scene, the food, the vibe, the energy.. i LOVE LA.
3 stoked girls, 5 hours later, checked in and ready to go.. we had dinner at Katsuya and went to Drais Hollywood, a very hip and trendy night club on our first night. The second day we handled it and shopped till we dropped along Roberston's Blvd. and Santa Monica. Got our Pink's quick fix and rushed to get ready for myStudio a chill but super cool spot to spend our last night. Oh and I forgot to mention, the late night McDonalds which seems to be my signature drunken meal. Sometimes, I just can't resist :)
The next day we checked out, brunch at Grub and headed back home to San Francisco. Even if it was such a spur of the moment trip, we definitely had a memorable time!
LOL
don't get me wrong, i enjoy nights out to get dolled up and dance my butt off but on most evenings, dinner with some friends then calling it a night would suffice. However my current obsession has been going to comedy shows... imagine laughing out loud for an hour or two straight, especially with my favorite comedian- whitney cummings. i saw her perform at the punchline comedy club in san francisco, a venue that is a perfect setting for an intimate experience with the audience. if you get an opportunity to see her show, i highly recommend it.

hawaii 2010
i've lost track of the number of times i've visited hawaii and still it hasn't gotten old for me. i guess it's simply because i try to do something different each time i come here- even though i find myself as a tour guide with whoever i'm with- i really do enjoy the familiarity i have with this place and it just feels like a second home.
one neat thing i've always wanted to do was paddle board. And as easy as it seems, it isn't so at first but once you get the hang of it, this activity is relaxing and loads of fun.
i did a lot of the usual things i did on my previous hawaii vacation but one of my highlights was watching bruno mars at the club, level 4. he's an amazing performer with a lot of talent. i instantly fell in love with his voice, stage personality, and was really happy i got to see him live.
And finally the tides were too high to jump off the cliff at Waimea Bay but I left the island with a nice golden tan after a good amount of Vitamin D. And I will be returning shortly again, I'm sure.
