The Meatpacking District is my favorite area to party in New York City. Our first night we checked out the Plunge Bar at the Gansevoort Hotel and it is definitely one of my favorite spots I've partied in. With the beautiful weather, breathtaking views, great drinks, and good company it's a perfect place to get a feel of the nightlife in this big city. The whole area is packed with tons of hot bars and clubs filled with people all over the cobblestone streets. We continued the party at Buddha Bar which was just around the corner. This restaurant/bar is super cute with cool decor and excellent drinks. We had a black buddha cocktail which is no joke one of the tastiest and strongest beverages i've had. We then roamed around to Kiss and Fly but decided to call it a night and headed to Gray's Papaya, New York's famous hot dogs. Forget Pink's in LA, these bad boys are amazing.

If you love Sex and the City and are in the New York area, I highly recommend checking out the bus tour where you can follow the footsteps of Carrie Bradshaw and the girls of the cast as it takes you to all the hotspots in New York City where they filmed the series and movie. For $40, you get a 3.5 hour tour and this is a fun way to revisit and relive moments from the film in a group with other fans. It was definitely a great way to start off our trip and see the cool places they hung out and restaurants they ate at as we watched clips inside the bus. Aside from eating New York's famous cupcakes from Magnolia Bakery and sipping cosmo's from Onieal's Bar, this tour allows you to feel a part of the show and brings you closer to the experience these lovely ladies had in real life.

Today was the opening of the Sonoma County Fair, an event I have looked forward to going to every summer. Besides the yummy foods, entertainment, animals, and exhibits to check out, there are so many attractions, shows, rides to keep you busy all day long for $9, it's nuts.

Some highlights of the day were my corn on the cob, cinnamon roll, black and white photobooth pictures, winning a goldfish, and the unforgettable feeling of going on a scary carnival ride- (yes they're pretty safe) and overall it gives this place a nostalgic setting that I enjoy.
