Another cool thing to do in San Diego is bicycle across the boardwalk and watch the sunset. We rented our cruisers for only $7 for an hour and it's a real fun way to enjoy what San Diego has to offer. I loved everything about my bike from the pink color to the basket and I felt right at ease strolling through and enjoying the scenery.

Mission Beach is a favorite spot for locals attracting a young crowd as we came here in time for Spring Break. The weather was warm and this spot is everything you'd expect from a Southern California beach with volleyball players, rollerbladers, bicyclists, skateboarders and a seaside amusement park.

What I take to the beach:
  • my 88 tees Beach Towel
  • Magazines (that are an easy read and that I don't care getting sand in)
  • Sunblock- Neutrogena is my fav.
  • my Havaiana Flip Flops
  • Chips & Snacks- Lays BBQ.. yum.
  • Bottled Water
  • Camera
  • an iPod
  • my fun Hat
  • Beach Bag
  • my Purse that carries my wallet, iPhone, makeup, etc.

A drive that's less than 2 hours away from LA, I couldn't pass up the chance to see San Diego for the very first time in my life. I've heard nothing but great things about this city and not only was the trip here smooth and quick, it was very relaxing and scenic and if only we had more days to scope out this sunny destination in full detail it would've been sweet. However, we did make the most out of it and I would definitely come back and see it again.

The OC has been the setting for numerous films and television shows, and is home to the famous tourist attractions like Disneyland and Knott's Berry Farm. There are also many famous beaches like Laguna, Huntington, & Newport and all these cities have a laid back feel compared to the busyness of Los Angeles. Each area has a downtown thats filled with unique shops and restaurants.
