even though i tell myself a million times i'm over the club/bar scene, i find myself still going only regretting moments later why i've said time after time why i hate going out now. anyhow, the venue was cute and of course i couldn't miss it for my favorite chica who always reminds me of good times- happy birthday maria.

we kept our rental and drove the next morning to Savers. we were so overwhelmed with the size of the store bc we were starving, but there were too many good finds, it was like a treasure chest with all the cutest clothes at such a low price. i scored big on lots of resort wear, vintage swimsuits, and lots of fun tops that i can't wait to rock.

and after a long hunt and feasting on my loco moco, we layed out again at sandy's and headed back to the Na' Hoola Spa at the Hyatt Regency in Waikiki for a lomi lomi massage. This spa is hands down one of the top 10 spas in Hawaii and the view overlooks the beach making it a perfect place to relax.

Then we had dinner outside at Roys, a Hawaiian Fusion cusine. The ambiance is great, the food was delicious and the service was excellent. I'd definitely come back here. Other restaurants we tried that I recommend are Arancino, an itallian gem on Beachwalk, Sansei at the Marriott if you're craving sushi, Yard House for a killer turkey melt or Mama's Spaghetti at the Makai Market Food Court in Ala Moana for more casual dining.

Today we rented a car and drove around Oahu.

First stop was the North Shore where we had lunch at the world's famous Giovanni's Shrimp Truck. There are many several trucks as you pass up such as Macky's Shrimp Truck and other variations of the same menu which entails a $12 plate of shrimp scampi with the option of lemon & butter or hot & spicy- which FYI- is non refundable.. ;)

Then we had dessert at Matsumoto Shave Ice in Haleiwa, a small quaint town that attracts locals and tourists alike. I ordered a large Mango, Lychee and Lilikoi combination with vanilla ice cream and condensed milk to top it off! :) Very delicious.

We continued our drive and discovered Wameia Bay Beach Park was closed. :( This hot spot is home to the famous cliff people come to jump off of. Unfortunately, the tides were extremely high and although many people layed out to enjoy the scenery of the beach, we left and headed east and stumbled upon a cute beach off the freeway that was empty. It was beautiful- quiet, still, clear, with turquoise waters; very refreshing.
