i've been hunting for a poncho like this for ages, have been into knee high socks and obviously can't get enough of this hat that i seem to wear with just about everything.
i spend my weekends often in santa rosa and visited
cranes melon barn where they have a christmas boutique every year and carry the neatest odds and ends.
i also checked out the new
forever 21 at the santa rosa plaza that's massive and is larger than the
powell street store in san francisco. just another reason why i love northern california that much more.

it's been raining cats and dogs these past few days and finally it stopped. surprisingly it was warm enough to pull this off, of course with a long black cardigan plus i love anything with pockets and adore this hat so if all else fails it'll keep me borderline dry. anyway, i usually get hot inside the
oracle arena and i've developed a thick skin.. besides, can't let my lace crop top go to waste in the winter.

i love the smell of christmas trees.. it really gets me in the holiday spirit along with 96.5 that plays xmas music nonstop for the season! anyway, i practically live in this sweater and i get a lot of mileage out of this scarf. with the weather getting chillier, layering keeps me warm. i spent last christmas in mexico so it's really nice to be celebrating it at home this year. it's also been quite some time since i dyed my hair dark and i really dig it.. i'm planning on keeping my natural color for awhile.. hopefully longer than i've been blonde. i've been in a really simple mood and i'm happy about it :)
