One of the perks of living in San Francisco is the proximity of all the world class wineries and vineyards. An easy hour-drive up north will take you to Sonoma or Napa Valley, where the best wine tasting experiences happen. As a Bay Area native, I've discovered Healdsburg ideal since this charming town has so much to offer and is less congested that Napa.
For Memorial Day Weekend, we did a half-day trip to J Vineyards & Winery for a champagne tasting and had lunch at one of our favorite restaurants in downtown, Barn Diva. I highly recommend visiting Medlock Ames if you haven't been and make sure you also try Shed!
