Shibuya

Urban Outfitters headband, XXI coat, Brandy Melville shirt, Zara shorts, Coach bag, Cartier bracelet

The likelihood of experiencing Shibuya, this empty, is pretty rare. Jet lag does have it's benefits, like in this case, a perfect photo opportunity -- crowd-free. But the downside of having such an early start is that nothing is open until 11am, so most mornings were spent aimlessly walking around while everything was closed. By Day 3 we learned our lesson and paced ourselves with a mega-breakfast -- a must in Tokyo, as you need all the energy you can get for all the walking required. My favorites were the buffets at the Captiol Hotel, the Cerulean Tower and of course, the Park Hyatt. Japan surprised me with its obsession for pastries; I must've stuffed myself with enough croissants to power me through the entire trip.
